A pad-mounted transformer is a ground-mounted, tamper-resistant distribution transformer housed in a locked steel cabinet, designed to supply power safely in areas accessible to the public. About Our Pad-Mounted Transformers

• Integrated design: Based on an oil-immersed transformer, the pad-mounted transformer integrates fuses, tap changers, load-break switches and low-voltage distribution equipment into one compact enclosure. It is available for 50/60 Hz systems, voltages up to 35 kV and standard ratings from 75 kVA to 3,000 kVA.
• High efficiency, lower cost: Efficiency exceeds 99% and complies with DOE 2016 energy efficiency rules, extending service life and reducing total cost of ownership.
• Maintenance-free operation: The IP54 / NEMA 3R enclosure protects against dust and moisture, with a design life of more than 25 years.
• Eco-friendly and sustainable: Compatible with FR3 natural ester (vegetable) insulating oil, which is more than 95% biodegradable.
• Standards and certifications: Designed to ANSI, IEEE C57 and IEC 60076 standards, with ISO, CE, IEC, CSA and UL certifications.
